Improves skin complexion

There are so many organs in the body in which skin is one of them, and just like any other part of the body; the skin is made up of cells which are made up of water. So, if your skin is not getting enough water, it will become dry, tight and flaky. Remember, dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling.

It is important we replenish the water we lose every day due to metabolism, respiration and body functions. However, it is unfortunate to know that our skin is the last organ to receive water. That is why it’s also good to leave water on our body after bath or shower.

You are the type that eats without taken enough water after or during a meal; it high time you stop such habit! This is because taken enough water during or after a meal helps in food digestion. Water and other liquids help break down food so that your body can absorb the nutrients. Water also softens stool, which helps prevent constipation.

Removes toxins from our system

Toxins are actually a normal part of our body intake of food and oxygen. The bowel disposes of toxins from the digestive system, and the liver helps clear the way for other organs to function properly and help rid of those unwanted toxins. Water flushes toxins and waste from the body and transports nutrients to where they are needed. Without water, the contents of your colon can dry out and get stuck, eventually cause constipation.
